Our Tale
In October 2020, we managed to find each other in the midst of a global shutdown! Our dates had to consist of watching movies together over Zoom, playing online games, and doing our college homework while on the phone. By the time we could manage an in-person date, it felt like we had known each other for years.
For the next 3 years, we continued to write our story and capture it through our mutual love of photography. Everywhere we went, Nate insisted on bringing his camera, and Sierra would find all sorts of tiny critters and things to take photos of. Our fun-loving, goofy selves made for some interesting shots too.
In October 2023, we tied the knot, and while on our honeymoon in Colorado, we decided we wanted to capture others’ stories the same way we had our own. And thus, the concept of Foxtale Photo began.
Our Harmony
Sierra’s love for romance and fantasy gives her a creativity that strives to express itself in epic and colorful ways. She’s been known to paint and write short stories of her own.
Nathan’s passion for technique and seeing what’s possible gives him a creativity that pushes him to see the world in unique ways. He’s always looking for new methods to capture moments in never before seen aspects.
Combining these two approaches to photography creates a harmony that is sure to display your story like the fairytale it is!

Why The Name?
Our name, Foxtale Photo, holds special significance. Foxes symbolize our connection to nature and a sense of enchanting wonder, themes that are central to our work. The choice of "tale" instead of "tail" is a playful twist, merging the imagery of a fox with the enchantment of a fairy tale.
